Brilliance V5

The front-wheel drive crossover Brilliance V5 was introduced to the Russian market in March 2014. Automobile production using the large-assembly method was established at the facilities of the Derways plant in Cherkessk. In China, the Brilliance V5 began to be mass-produced at the end of 2011. Overall dimensions of the car are 4405 mm in length, 1800 mm in width and 1627 mm in height, wheelbase – 2630 mm. The gauge of the front wheels is 1544 mm, the gauge of the rear wheels is 1530 mm, the ground clearance (clearance) is 175 mm with the standard tires 225 / 55R17. BMW X1

X1 – a compact five-seater crossover. Car production began at the Leipzig factory in Germany in October 2009. The entire process of designing a model, from setting technical specifications to the descent of the X1c conveyor, took only three years. BMW does not hide: when creating this car, the company’s designers proceeded from the fact that the crossover should appeal primarily to young people. The overall length of the X1, built on a 3-Series platform, is 4454 millimeters, and the width, height and wheelbase are 1798, 1545 and 2760 millimeters, respectively. At the same time, the novelty is about 110 millimeters shorter, 60 millimeters narrower and 140 millimeters lower than the BMW X3. Ground clearance is 194 mm. Continue reading

The prototype was introduced in the fall of 1997 in Tokyo, the production model of the BMW Z8 – in 2000. It is produced in small quantities at the plants in Dingolfing and Munich.

The exterior design of the car resembles the legendary model of the 1950s. BMW 507, created by Count Albrecht Goertz: long hood, large wheels. The work of designer Henrik Fiskers pays tribute to the heritage of this sports car, and under the beautiful lining of aluminum and carbon fiber panels there is a spatial aluminum frame, no less complicated than the suspension of many modern racing cars, which provides high levels of body rigidity.
